I think this is true, but I just need to confirm... we have some pages in our platform where the page urls have all kinds of characters (?#, etc.) I know that I always need to replace / and . with underscores, but i'm being asked if we are limited to _ as a replacement for all special characters...
So far what i've tested this seems to be true.. but would like confirmation. I haven't been able to find this specific rule in the help.
Thanks!
Can only underscore be used as a "character" in CSH ID
Re: Can only underscore be used as a "character" in CSH ID
Underscore (_) and hyphen (-) can be used.
Generally speaking, most of the "safe" special characters that you can use in a URL are also "reserved" because they have a purpose in the URL - so they can't be used in a CSH ID.
All other special characters are generally considered "unsafe" to use in a URL.
