Search Term is not Highlighted in Topics

Post by ktbCA57 »

in my help, if i run a search (e.g., for the word "Server") my expectation is that any topic containing that word will appear on the list... then when clicked that word (i.e., Server) would appear highlighted. However, this is not the case.

I'm sure it's a setting I"m missing someplace, but can't find it.

Anyone?

Thanks!

For some reason, when MadCap first introduced Top Nav HTML5 output, it chose not to include search highlighting in the stylesheet. I suspect that this is the case with your project, so you’ll need to add the CSS for search highlighting yourself.

Doing this is covered in the Flare Help: http://help.madcapsoftware.com/flare201 ... h-Hits.htm. Notice especially the part about importing the search highlighting from an older Flare project factory template which did have the search highlighting CSS.
