I've been looking for a way to find duplicate bookmarks as I have a parent and child projects and want to make sure of consistency across all of them.
The Flare Project Analyzer "Used Bookmarks" does not help as it lists wherever bookmarks are used (x-refs, area) but not so much the bookmarks themselves, which should have an "a" link tag.
My way around all of this:
- Use Project / Reports to generate a Used Bookmarks report
View it in the browser
Copy all of its contents
Drop this into Excel
Move the heading information like name and date etc. of report out of the way
Sort the column alphabetically which should put all "bookmark" entries at the top (or at least together) so the rest can be deleted or ignored
Use Conditional formatting for Duplicate entries, so they show up in red or whatever you stipulate
