Does anyone know if there is a way to get an analysis of changed (added/deleted) words in MadCap, (possibly using tracked changes)?
We generate files on an almost weekly basis for re-translation, and the majority of the files remain largely unchanged, with maybe a few sentences added or removed as we adjust SOPs. My translation vendor asked if there was a way in MadCap to pull any kind of report to give them an estimate of the word count for how much has actually changed within a document so they can provide turnaround time estimates sooner than we are able to now.
Thank you so much!

Re: Word Count for Added/Deleted Words
If your translation provider is using Madcap Lingo, I believe that there is some functionality for assessing which strings in the project have been changed since the last time it was loaded in.
If you want to do it with just Flare, try creating some custom Reports in the Project>Reports tab. There are options for getting word counts (either of individual files or the project as a whole) and for flagging all files with (tracked) changes. Some combination of that might work for you.
