Hi,
we are generating a technical document for our support-team. Some pictures (.png, jpeg) of the documentation are generated from the software development-team out of Enterprise Architect or Visio Files (UML-Diagrams). We have added these pictures to our Flare project.
We had several time the problem that the development-team didn't know from which Visio-Files the pictures where generated when they wanted to update some pictures. (the Development team is HUGE and the storage structure is it too)
Is there a way to add meta-information to pictures where information about the generating-source-file (path to visio file) can be stored?
Thank you for your help
Dominik

Possibly over-simplistic, but... If the document is for support staff or internal use only, can you just include the source for the image in a figurecaption or a line of text under the image? That way it's immediately clear where they came from. You could use a condition on the caption to show/hide the text in the target depending on whether it is for internal users or for external ones if the document has multiple audiences.
