I created an auto-generated index in my project. I didn't want to keep the alphabetical letters as IndexHeading but to replace them with the first level terms of the index. For that, I modified the css to hide the IndexHeading and applied a change to the p.index1. If it works fine, I have a strange result though. All my first level entries are correctly displayed. But the last includes page numbers, although nothing differs from the others entries.
Any idea of the problem? Here is an insight of my style sheet.

That's an interesting way to use an index. I can imagine many ways it could be useful.
What do the index entries in your topics look like for each 'Index1' level entry? Are there differences there?
Could it be one (Hydrolats) has a single topic reference and the other (Phytotherapie) is on multiple topics?
Thinking out loud here as I'm not sure how Flare puts together the code for an Index.
