Hello everyone,
I am noticing a strange behavior in the PDF page layout editor in Flare:
- The page that I'm working on in the workspace is displayed very small and I cannot zoom in on it although I believe it should be possible to do so.
- Only the top half of the ruler digits is showing.
See attachment.
I looked everywhere for settings on how to change this but cannot find them.
My mouse wheel scroll feature works fine in other applications and also other Flare windows.
CTRL + + scrolls from left to right instead of zooming in.
Scale to 100% doesn't enlarge the page any further.
I closed Flare and reopened a couple of times but that didn't help.
Issue occurs in all Flare projects on my system.
Suspect it started after downloading the most recent Flare update but am not 100% sure.
Any help is much appreciated as it's hard to work on details in such a small space.
best regards
Dave

Re: View page layout editor "broken"?
Do you have any rescaling by Windows? We know that doesn't play nicely with Flare.

Hi Steve,
Yep, that was the culprit. I do use an external screen next to my laptop.
Some further digging brought me to this: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=27784&hilit=small+icons
Part of the last solution advised on that page did the trick:
Go to the Flare.exe, right click and then:
Properties > Compatibility tab
Select "Override high DPI scaling behaviour".
Set "Scaling Performed by" to System
Thanks for putting me on the right track.
best regards
