Hello. I tried to find the answer to this but couldn't.
Do the navigation arrows you can enable only move to the next/previous item if it's in the Table of Contents? For example, I have a topic that links to other topics that are not in the TOC. When I'm viewing the linked topic, the Next arrow doesn't work. Is that expected behavior, or is there something I can do to fix it?

Yes, that is the expected behavior. The Previous and Next buttons allow the user to step up and down the TOC, aka, the menu structure in HTML5 ouptut. Topics need to be on the TOC is order for those buttons to work for those topics.
BTW, if you include a breadcrumb in your output, a topic that is not on the TOC will also not appear in the breadcrumb.

Humm. My client really wants to use this navigation, which means I'll have to put all those topics in the TOC. Is there any workaround that can be done programmatically?
