"Show indicators for content expand and collapse" - default

Post by ChoccieMuffin »

Whenever I open a topic, the "Show indicators for content expand and collapse" option is set to "ON" (it's the eyeball with an arrow on the toolbar at the bottom of the XML editor, as in the screenshot). I find this really irritating and end up collapsing content by mistake and then turning this thing off pretty much every time I open a topic.

Is there a way I can set the default behaviour for this annoying new gizmo to be off, instead of having to turn it off dozens of times a day every time I open a topic? I couldn't see an option in File > Options > XML Editor, or anywhere else. Anyone got any pointers?
