The dictionary file "English <United States> Dictionary.mcdic" appears to be the only file in a new Flare project that has spaces. For this reason it causes problems in CVS (source control), and I have always left it out.
Has anyone else encountered this? What do you do?
Thanks,
Matt

Re: CVS troubled by dictionary file because of spaces
Not sure if this will help....I ran into a similar problem with another file (not mcdic, I can't remember what it was.) We are using the PushOK plugin with CVS. Our configuration manager had me change this setting in PushOK CVSSCC.
In the PushOK CVS Proxy properties window, select (check) the checkbox for “treat unicode files as binary (unix cvs compatibility)â€.
After that, it all worked fine. If you're using PushOK, you might want to check with your CM folks to see if this will help.

Re: CVS troubled by dictionary file because of spaces
noble,
Thanks. I'm not using PushOK, but the fact that this worked for you after you entered it "binary" tells me what I think I need to know. If I enter it with the -kb switch in the CVS DOS shell it might work. Thanks.
