It appears that Flare produces a TON of image files for the standard help file buttons--browse, add topic to favorites, expand and collapse, etc.--and stores them in C:\temp. Typical file names are tmp3B.gif, tmp5D8.jpg, etc.
Does anyone know why these files are produced and whether it's safe to delete them? I assume they can be deleted, otherwise they wouldn't be in the temp folder. However, I'm curious why they are created and whether I can prevent them from building up in my temp folder.
Thanks!

Re: tmp Image Files Produced by Flare
Yes, it's safe to delete them.
Flare creates these every time you do a build, but doesn't remove them.
Over time this adds up, I've deleted over 50,000 of these files from the temp folder before.
