Problem with Hyperlink box not closing

I'm using Flare 4.0. When creating a hyperlink (web page or email), I enter the link info, specify that the target frame should open in a new window (if a web page), and then click on OK, the box takes a long time to close. It's relative to the amount of time Flare has been running on my desktop - when I just open Flare, there's no delay whatsoever (as would be expected) but if I've been working in a project for a few hours, it can take 5, 10 minutes or more before the box actually closes. Anyone else experiencing this problem?
