Is there a way to run Capture minimized to an icon is the systray, and use keyboard shortcuts to make screengrabs?
This is how I run Snagit 10, and I was wondering if I could configure Capture similarly.

Re: Minimize Capture to System Tray?
i don't use capture anymore, but i used to use the keyboard shortcuts to make my screenshots.
ctrl+shift+A = capture active window
ctrl+shift+C = capture active window without border
ctrl+shift+F = capture full screen
ctrl+shift+R = capture a region
ctrl+shift+W = capture a GUI element
these are probably in the Capture online help

Re: Minimize Capture to System Tray?
Reasons why I don't use Capture:
1. We didn't buy it at the company I'm at now.
2. We have SnagIt, but I don't really use that either.
3. Print Screen works ok for me, since I prefer to edit with Photoshop anyway.
4. I'm stuck editing old content (with screenshots already done) so I don't take very many screenshots.
Even when I did use Capture, more often than not it seemed like more work than it was worth.

I hear...errr, read ya. I like Capture as it offers some unique features that truly cut down on work during a project, but for most stuff I use some PaintShop Pro 6. I know that it is straight out of Yurassic Park, but it just works for the plain and simple stuff.lacastle wrote:Even when I did use Capture, more often than not it seemed like more work than it was worth.

If you go to Tools > Options, on the General tab, enable the "Minimize to System Tray" check box.ccardimon wrote:Is there a way to run Capture minimized to an icon is the systray, and use keyboard shortcuts to make screengrabs?
