FileName ... Image with lots of numbers

Hi,

I don't seem to be able to change the default capture file name used by Capture. I've looked at the Profiles and other information..

The default is like:

Image123456789123456789.... and a lot more ...

How do I reset the numbers or change the default save file name?

Hmmm...that sounds like it might be a bug, but I'm not sure. I've never encountered it (my default name when I don't apply any profile is "Untitlled-<number>" (where <number> is typically the number of screen caps I've taken in the current session).

In the Profiles editor, you should be able to change the default for a profile -- look at the Basic tab, Output File Name field. Hope that helps!

Yes, lots of numbers and a looooong file name. For each new screenshot one or two digits are added. Having used previous versions and now running V5, this is the first time I encounter this.
Is there a way to reset the number?

I have found a (the) solution for this problem:

In the Profile (View>Profiles) set the Output File Name to whatever name you want to give to your screeshots, followed by {n}, e.g. capture{n}

Just giving a name and ommitting the {n} leads to those long numbers. As far as I can remember, in the previous versions of Capture, you could just give a name without {n}
