Does capture have a select tool

Does it?
A square select tool, circle....anything? I just want to give some white space on each side of my captures to add a few text boxes in white space, I thought I could just increase the page width and drag the image into the middle to give me space on each side so I can put boxes in the white space.....surely it has to work somehow.

That's not how Capture works, but there's still a way to achieve what you're after.

Create your white boxes (or whatever the objects are you're after) and drag them to an edge so that they are "bleeding" off the image. Capture will expand the "canvas".

Try it once and you'll clearly see what I mean.
