How can I change the Canvas Color?
How can I change the Canvas Color?
How can I change the color of the Canvas? I am doing a regional capture and the color on the capture is the same as the default color of the canvas. I cannot distinguish between where the capture ends and the canvase color when I try to crop the image. Any suggestions?

Are you talking about the gray background that is the default color on the outside of the capture?

Did anyone ever figure this out? I would be very interested. Thanks!

Yes, you can do this, but it is on a capture-by-capture basis (of course, you can set up a profile to automatically apply it).
1) With the relevant screen capture open, go to File > Properties.
2) On the Appearance tab, in the Background area, select the color you want in the Fill Start field.
3) Select the same color again in the Fill End field (assuming you want a single uniform color).
4) Click OK.
Now, when you apply an object that expands beyond the border of the screen cap, the background color that displays will be the one you selected.
Hope that helps!
