Can't copy straight Polylines

Post by Nat_S »

If I create a perfectly straight Polyline, Capture v5 refuses to copy it. It gives me the following: Failed to run command 'Copy'. Exception: Parameter is not valid"

But if I slightly bend the line, it'll copy it just fine.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Running Capture v5 on Windows XP, SP3.

I am using Capture 6 and cannot copy a polyline. I get the same error message about a failed operation.

I see the original post was from 2011. Anyone successfully done this since then?

I am using v6.0.2, and I am able to copy a straight polyline - no error.

As a workaround, can you add the polyline to a palette?

I have also no problems with copying polylines. In the past it was a problem.

I'm using Capure 6 and copying polylines is not a problem.

For example, I create a black arrow on my image. If I want to copy the polyline I can by right clicking the polyline, making it turn yellow. It can be copied and pasted...
