shadow on oval

Post by jbananak »

Hi
I want a shadow on my oval - but when I select shadow, it is a shadow of the whole "fill" of the oval. I need a shadow just of the outline.
How can I do this?
Thanks

I think you have to "fake out" Capture by having two ovals. Create the first oval with the border as you'd like it. Now copy the oval and paste. Capture will paste it in slightly offset to the right and down. You can now change this second oval to have a different color border, as a way of emulating the shadow of the first oval. Next, make sure to sink the second oval to the bottom. Finally, select both ovals and group them.

This is the best I can think of... Hope it helps.
