Can I name objects in my timeline?

Post by LindaW »

I'm new to Mimic - creating my first project, which so far consists of one frame with a lot of rollover captions to describe areas of a UI.

So my timeline has a long list of Rectangle and Rollover Caption objects. Is there any way to give these objects names? I've looked in the Properties windows, but I don't see anyplace give it a name or identify the object.

thanks for any advice on this.

Just tried to name an object (never worried about it in the past) and couldn't. At least, I couldn't find a way to do it.

Lodge a bug/ enhancement request if you'd like to see this feature: https://www.madcapsoftware.com/bugs/submit.aspx. Hopefully the developers will see it as a worthwhile feature and add it to the next release! I reckon its a good idea...
