Mimic Compiler: Failed to generate SWF file

I get the following message when trying to compile to Flash:

"Compiling FML -> SWF...

fmlc: Error: FML: Non-unique identifier 'cursorArrow' used by <simpleimage>. Other node = <simpleImage>. Line: 2196, Column: 1, File: "Pilot - Employee_Section.fml", Path: "C:\Manuals\Help files\Competence portal - Pilot employee\Competence portal - Pilot employee\Output\Temporary\flash\Pilot - Employee_Section.fml#2195:0"

fmlc: FlashCompiler v0.91.539.6

fmlc: Error: FML: Non-unique identifier 'cursorarrow' used by <simpleimage>. Other node = <simpleImage>. Line: 2340, Column: 1, File: "Pilot - Employee_Section.fml", Path: "C:\Manuals\Help files\Competence portal - Pilot employee\Competence portal - Pilot employee\Output\Temporary\flash\Pilot - Employee_Section.fml#2339:0"

fmlc: http://www.madcapsoftware.com

fmlc: C:\Manuals\Help files\Competence portal - Pilot employee\Competence portal - Pilot employee\Output\Temporary\flash\Pilot - Employee_Section.fml: Compilation failed.

fmlc: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\fmlc: done.

Mimic Compiler: Failed to generate SWF file C:\Manuals\Help files\Competence portal - Pilot employee\Competence portal - Pilot employee\Output\flash\Competence portal - Pilot employee.mcmvf\Pilot - Employee_Section.swf

Aborted."

The project does compile to a MadCap movie. And it did compile to Flash in earlier versions.

I try to find the error by looking at the lines in the file indicated in the message, but get no clue (in the Output/Temporary/flash directory).

Help please!

/Torbjörn

If you remove the slide it was working on does it generate for you?

There were two moving cursors in the same slide, when that was changed the compilation to Flash worked also.

I'm having the same problem but I am unable to figure out how to fix the problem. There are no duplicated pointers, so does anyone know if there are any other explanations?

Here's some output from the error:

fmlc: FlashCompiler v0.91.539.6
fmlc: Error: FML: Non-unique identifier 'cursorarrow' used by <simpleimage>. Other node = <simpleImage>. Line: 3042, Column: 1, File: "Creating a chart_Section.fml", Path: "C:\Documents and Settings\Charts\Output\Temporary\flash\Creating a chart_Section.fml#3041:0"
fmlc: http://www.madcapsoftware.com
fmlc: Error: FML: Non-unique identifier 'cursorArrow' used by <simpleimage>. Other node = <simpleImage>. Line: 3186, Column: 1, File: "Creating a chart_Section.fml", Path: "C:\Documents and Settings\Charts\Output\Temporary\flash\Creating a chart_Section.fml#3185:0"
fmlc: \\\\\\\\\\\\\\fmlc: done.
fmlc: C:\Documents and Settings\Charts\Output\Temporary\flash\Creating a chart_Section.fml: Compilation failed.
Mimic Compiler: Failed to generate SWF file C:\Documents and Settings\Charts\Output\flash\ActixOne Charts.mcmvf\Creating a chart_Section.swf
Aborted.

Thanks
Paul

Thanks Richard. Since upgrading (from 1.2 to 3.0), the issue no longer occurs, as far as I can tell.
