Skipping a Flare version upgrade: Can it be done?

Post by markeichelberger »

I am currently on Flare version 2021 r2. Flare version 2022.r2 is now the most current version. I have not installed 2021.r3 or 2022. Can I safely skip those versions and install 2022.r2?
Thanks,

Welcome to the forums...

Yes. Flare 2022 will install alongside the 2021 version, leaving both versions available. The full install for 2022R2 does not need the first release.

As always, back up everything before downloading and installing.

Hi Mark, as you speak with more flare users, you'll find that having more than one install of Flare is fairly common. It's handy in case you hit a snag on something and need to step back a version as well as to test that what you're seeing is really what Flare can give you with your provided CSS ;-)
