Has anyone experimented with running Flare (current release == V12 as of this writing) in a Windows 7 virtual machine running under Linux?
Windows 10 has me seriously considering making Linux (Mint) my primary operating system and using a Windows 7 VM to run Windows-only programs.
At least some Mac users successfully run Flare under one or another VM. For example:

■ http://www.flareforhelp.com/2010/07/usi ... n-be-done/
■ Et cetera
Insofar as I already run a Linux VM on my current Windows 7 64-bit laptop (love the power of the Bash shell and those *ix text processing tools!), I'm wondering if I can reverse the hierarchy to instead run a Windows VM under Linux that will in turn support Flare.
Experiences? Thoughts?
Cheers & thanks for your help,
Riley
