How to change the default pane where topics open?

Hello

I have recently upgraded to Flare 12, and have set up my Flare desktop with the Content Explorer/Project Organizer in the first pane, topics/Start Page in the central pane and TOC in the 3rd pane. This is exactly the same setup as I had in Flare 11.

However, when I use the TOC to open a topic (Ctrl-click, or right-click Open Link), it opens in the 3rd/TOC pane instead of the central pane. I then have to drag and drop it into the middle.

How do I change this to make topics automatically open in the central pane?

Hi,

This is a workspace issue:

open a topic, click the title and make it float.
Then drop it in the correct green block you will see pop-up so it ends up in de correct pane.
Then save the workspace (as default) or with a new name (then you can switch between different workspaces)
Next topics that will be opened will then open in the same pane.
