I've got a user running Flare 11, and want to take it off them, and use their maintenance contract to give someone else the latest version of Flare instead. I'm conscious that a) Madcap have them on record as the user of this copy and b) the activation keys are different. We are entitled to the latest via maintenance contract, we've just not updated due to some users having old browsers.
Is the process:
1. Deactivate Flare 11 on the existing user's PC.
2. Download the latest version and install it on the new user's PC.
3. Use the new activation key and the new user's name / email when activating this PC.
Will that be enough to get Madcap's records straight, or do I have to make actual contact with them?
regards
Moving Flare to new user

Re: Moving Flare to new user
That might be enough, but whenever we have changed staff,we have always sent email to support and they have ensured the registration is updated.
Being in the Australian timezone, contacting support in the US is never a great option but Madcap work well via email for us.
