Re: Sample Project Files for MadCap Flare
Welcome to the forums!
Assuming that you have installed a trial version of Flare already, you can start a new project (File > New Project) to start running the New Project wizard and then select one of the many "factory project templates" that come with Flare. There are project templates that are preset to produce online output only, others that produce print output only, and others that produce both online and print output. There is also a "tutorial template" whose purpose is to give you a little practice using Flare when you're just starting out.
These Flare Help topics may help you:
http://help.madcapsoftware.com/flare201 ... roject.htm
http://help.madcapsoftware.com/flare201 ... torial.htm -- Which uses the "tutorial template."
http://help.madcapsoftware.com/flare201 ... on-Adv.htm -- Which demonstrates the use of one of the online-only templates.
http://help.madcapsoftware.com/flare201 ... DF-Adv.htm -- Which demonstrates the use of one of the print and online templates.
http://help.madcapsoftware.com/flare201 ... 3-Fold.htm -- Which demonstrates the use of one of the print only templates.
Once you've played around with Flare, you can also download additional project templates from MadCap's website, here:
https://www.madcapsoftware.com/download ... templates/
The trial version of Flare is fully functional but will insert random characters into text strings in output. If you decide to purchase a license, you can continue to use any of the projects you created during the trial.
HTH. If you have more questions about the trial and about licensing, I suggest you contact MadCap Sales. If you've got Flare how-to questions, we Flare users here on these peer-to-peer user forums are happy to offer help.

Nita, that's a great Baby's First Flare Project(tm)" post. Maybe it could be a sticky topic?
