Hi there,
still dealing with MadCap Lingo, my colleague and I found ourselves in this scenario:
we tried to add a corporate xml file into an existing project or new project, and the screen below shows what was next:
it seems Lingo failed to properly load our xml file.
So, we tried out another way:
copy the xml file content > generate a new xml file > paste the 1st xml file content into the new one > name it differently.
After that, we repeated previous steps and finally could see the new xml file loaded:
(sorry for resolution)
Is there a reason why Lingo fails to load corporate/existing xml file?
Are we compelled to get into these steps to properly work with Lingo?
Our direct MadCap assistant/contact is not promptly answering emails (though considering time zone), that's why we're asking for your "assistance"
Thank you all!

I had something like this happen once because of a check box in the wizard that told Lingo to leave out certain files. But I can't remember the exact details (sorry). But before you start over (which is what I ended up doing), expand the File List pane until you see a Filter menu at the top and verify that the menu is set to All Files.

Thanks for replying!
Here it's what I see when I expand the File List pane.
The Filter section at the top shows two default options only.
The last three you see in the red square have been added by me, just for a try.
Anyway, I couldn't find no "All Files" section, as long as we are talking about the same path

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

According to Help, you should have several options on the Filter menu (Lingo Help).
Try adding a filter using asterisk-period-asterisk (*.*). If it's not the filter, then I'm not sure what else would cause this (sorry).

Re: !Lingo doesn't load "existing" xml files
Hi,
actually, I miss xml files generated by D2H's export function in my translation project. Filter drop down list in Lingo does not show xml, only Translation candidates and Capture images.
Any advice will be appreciated.
