Tip for populating Lingo TMs

Situation
While the projects for translation were set up with Lingo, the translation was done by an external vendor with different tools. However, the decision has now been made to give Lingo another try but this time with SQL Server since SQLIte did not yield the desired results.

After creating the translation memories on the server, I could go ahead and ask the vendor to provide the TMX from the previous translations and start the import. However, there is also a different solution available which is not too well documented but works very well.

Proceed as follows:

Open the relevant translated project in Lingo
Select the Lingo TM for the relevant language in the ressources tab
Highlight all files with the status completed
Select in the Home tab the option Upload Selected.

This will first harvest and then upload the segments into the relevant translation memory.
