Lingo 10 XLIFF exports do not work in memoQ

Post by glad »

I have migrated an Lingo 9 project to Lingo 10 (based on Flare v11 or Flare v12r2).
Translator using memoQ (2015 version) now have problems to import XLIFF files. Some files gives the message:
"The number or the "mid" attribute of "mrk" segmentation tags is inconsistent in trans-unit "xx" " "
The "xx" could be any number.
Sometimes it works to import but in both cases the import back to Lingo 10 give sporadic tag warnings, only tags in the target segment or is empty.
When checking the Lingo exported XLF source with e g "XLIFF Checker" it indicates an invalid file = before sending to translator!.

Analyzing the XLF file further with notepad the two parts <source> and <seg-source> contains the English (master) strings. And is same in both exported and imported files.
The <target> part is of course different. But the order of the "mid" parts are corrupt. It could be e g mid="1", mid="2" and mid="3" in the <seg-source> but mid="1", mid="17" and mid="3" in the <target>.
Maybe there are something related to that the second "mid" are protected in the <seg-source>?

Does anybody have any experience and advises on this?

(I have a case with Madcap support but without any solution, yet).
