Does Lingo 9 use NMT with Google API?

I'm doing a machine translation using LIngo 9 and Google Translate API. I had done a previous translation with Bing, and the (Japanese) translator asked that we re-translate it using the Google NMT model. It appears that you can choose either model when a translation request is made. By default it now uses NMT if no model is specified, and I found no way to specify it in Lingo, so I assume it is not explicitly requesting the PBMT model.
I thought it would be prudent to check, however...
