Flare hangs on MS Word import

I'm running Flare 2017 r2 and trying to import a Word document. After I select that option it hangs on the "Checking MS Word version..." prompt.

Could this be due to security? We're unable to update Flare at work or register it.

We're running Office 365 on Windows 7. Any help on how I can import from MS Word would be great.

With the lack of permissions you suffer from it is likely that the process hangs trying to find the Word executable.

I doubt it's the Word version. More like its location. Is it on a network?
