Hi,
I'm testing out Flare's import functionality for a longish html document.
The import works, with one major anomaly: the entire file is in inverse order by section! IOW it starts with the LAST section of the original file, and then proceeds, section by section, through the entire set of headings, backwards. It ends with the H1 title.
This is very weird and useless behavior. It means that to generate a correct PDF from an html source, I have to re-order the entire file, section by section, manually.
Any way I can avoid this?
Thanks,
EF Roselli
Why does HTML import invert all the headings in the doc?
Re: Why does HTML import invert all the headings in the doc?
I've discovered that the files I was trying to import, to meet requirements for their use in a separate system, had been topped and tailed of their <html><body></body></html> tags. Replacing these, manually or with a script, solves the problem.
