I'd like to have text files containing code stored in my project so that:
* For printed material, the text file is included inline within the topic
* For online help, the text file (let's assume it's called example.json) is accessed via a hyperlink and can be downloaded
Obviously the second part is trivial, but is there any way I can include the contents of a text file within a topic on the fly?

Including text files within topics?
Re: Including text files within topics?
I don't think you can do that for PDFs.
For HTML5 outputs, there are various ways to insert a text file inside a topic - like using the object tag, or scripting - and these are handled by the browser at run time (not when Flare builds the target).
However, that wouldn't work for PDF outputs, as Flare has to incorporate the text file into the topic at build time - and AFAIK, Flare can't do that. The text would physically have to be put in a topic or snippet.
