Missing text and graphics

I imported a rather large Word (docx) document into Flare and as I'm reviewing the result, I realized that some graphics did not import and also some text is missing from topics. I've also noticed a couple of topics that did not import either. I'm not seeing any pattern. Within a topic, I'll have some graphics come through and some do not. I have part of a sentence that is missing from a topic as well as a whole sentence. In at least one case, the missing text starts in the middle of a word. In several cases, I have the numbered steps but no text comes through. Just the numbers. Where there is suppsed to be a graphic, I have an empty paragraph tag instead of the graphic showing up.
Has anyone had similar problems? There are too many errors for me to fix this project and I plan to scrap it and reimport but want to know if there is something that I should be watching out for when I set up the import. I set this up the same as other projects and I haven't had this kind of problem before.
