Request to share your experiences with Easy Sync

For those using Flare's Easy Sync to manage source content in MS Word and maintain a connection between these and Flare project files, I wonder if you could please share your experiences -- good or bad.

While I've been away on an extended maternity leave, my colleagues have been wrestling with this feature of Flare and report the following:
"The process [of using Easy Sync to import new and updated versions of a Word doc into the OLH] is convoluted at best. You can import one Word document to a project but subsequently you have to create a Flare import version of the document (flimp) outside the project, then open the project and import it."

I've combed through Flare's Getting Started Guide and can 't find any detailed explanations on proper use of this feature/functionality.
