Index Entries on Frame Import

Post by Jodie Boedigheimer »

Hi All

I've imported a FrameMaker book into Flare. It all works dandy - TOC, formatting, etc. The one piece I can't get to work is the Index. In each topic, there are multiple index entries throughout the topic. What I expect is that the index markers act as a sort of bookmark when they're in the middle of the topic. So, if I click on the index entry that is right before a heading 3 in the topic, it'll open the topic and jump to that section of the topic, like the TOC does when an entry is attached to the heading 3 half way down the topic. Instead, it just opens the topic and leaves me at the top. Some of the topics are more than 10 pages (don't ask . . . cutting them up is not an option at the moment), so the scrolling is annoying.

How do I make the index entries jump to the location in the middle of the topic where they were entered?

Thanks
J

What's your target? For HTML help:
  1. Open Project Organizer>Skins.
  2. Click the HTML Help Setup tab.
  3. Click the Index Options button.
  4. Clear Binary, and select Include booksmarks with index entries.
Read the text in the dialog for more info.

You ROCK! Thank you!

I kept looking in the Target for this option . . . not the skins.

Thanks a ton!
