Good morning!
I recently switched from RoboHelp (v3) to Flare and am trying to get myself aquainted with its many uses. I decided to investigate the "Flobal Project Linking" (thinking it was similar to the Merge File tool) but ran into a problem almost straightaway. When in my first project, I clicked Project | Import File | Add Flare Project Import File but when I went to browse to my second project file, it wasn't shown! What am I doing wrong here? My project file, with the .flprj extension, is where it is supposed to be. Why can't I navigate to it in this dialog?
Global Project Linking- Importing Files from Another Project
Re: Global Project Linking- Importing Files from Another Project
Welcome to the forums, ClvrWrtr
for an introduction, have you seen these prerecorded videos
http://www.madcapsoftware.com/demos/support.aspx
they are a great way to immerse yourself in the 'methods' first.
You're jumping ahead abit, but in short,
Global Project Linking - lets you import/share certain elements like common stylesheets, variables with other Flare/blaze projects. Its like an invisible link between this master project and its 'childern', so outdated stylesheets are automatically replaced when projects are reopened everytime.

If you submit your bug feedback request here, the more likely it'll get fixed or included in a future release
