Spacing between heading number and text in TOC

Post by esachs »

I have a print TOC with Chapter and section numbers followed by the section heading. My original headings have autonumbering, set in the h1, h2, h3 styles. The TOC is set to show the Autonumber & the text. So we get:

Chapter 1 This is a Chapter
1.1 This is a Section
1.1.1 This is a Subsection
.....
1.9 Another Section
1.10 A Section with Two Digits Doesn't Align

I would like to control the spacing between the Chapter 1 & "This is a Chapter" so it functions more like a tab: I want more space between the autonumber and the text and I want the text to align to a specific point, instead of being a fixed number of spaces. That is, I want it to look more like:

Chapter 1 This is a Chapter
1.1 This is a Section
1.1.1 This is a Subsection
.....
1.9 Another Section
1.10 A Section with Two Digits Really Should Align

Is this supported in Flare? If so, how do I do it?

I have the same exact question as esachs. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks.
