Creating a class for Command Line Interface formatting

Post by kerimucci »

Hello,

I am using the pre class to format code blocks and would like to create another class that behaves the same, but has a black background and white text instead of a grey background with black text (to format command line content). I tried adding a class from the pre class called pre.CommandLine, but it isn't appearing in the Styles panel/Style menu. Is there another why I should be doing this?

Thanks,
Keri

The styles menu can behave oddly at times, but there's nothing stopping you just switching to text view to add the class="CommandLine" manually to the pre tag, which would work fine :)

Yes, oddly enough, sometimes the class will display, sometimes it won't.

But that is an alternative if I need it.

Thank you.
