We use the default MadCap styles for footnotes (<MadCap:footnote> <MadCap:footnotesBlock>).
Can this style be set up to override any outer style setting that embeds the footnote?
In certain "standard" situations it may well be possible to just set the matching style or a local formatting on the footnote within the containing paragraph.
However, in one of our use cases the style is inherited from a table style with a header class (with a bold font style) and I haven't found any way of overriding this so far, neither by local formatting, nor by adjusting the above mentioned footnote styles (by setting font weight and style to "normal").
We are in a print context, where I adjust the Medium default with MadCap Flare 2017 r3.
