Copy inline formatting to create a style

Post by tawnip »

Hi,

Is there a way to take a paragraph that has inline formatting and create a style in the CSS file? I inherited a monster help system and it is built using inline styles and not a CSS.

Thanks,
Tawni

If you're using Flare 2018, on the Anaylsis tab click Summary, and look for the New Style Suggestions option. (If using an earlier version, run Analyzer instead.) I haven't needed to use it, but that might be a helpful starting point. Have to say though, I don't envy you - best of luck!

SOLVED!! Excellent idea. I don't know why I didn't think of that. Probably because I fell out of my chair when I opened the first four projects and saw what I was in for. It didn't pick them all up, but will give me a start.

I have created an Excel spreadsheet so I can match the styles with the same name and ultimately create one CSS.

Thank you ChoccieMuffin for saving my sanity or what little of it I have left.
