Adding an event to an image in the header in HTML5

Post by Dennetti »

I have a "Home" image on the header in the HTML5 target. Please could someone explain how to add an an event to this image? When the user clicks it, I would like the Home page and TOC to be displayed. I assume this is a common thing to do, but I can't see where it is done.
Thanks for any advice.

By default, the header logo should already linked to your home page / startup topic - this will be the first topic in the TOC, unless you set a different Startup Topic in the target.

Additionally, if you're using a Top Nav or Side Nav skin, you can set a logo URL in the skin, e.g. if you want the logo to link to an external website instead. But when it's set to (default), it'll show the topic mentioned above.

So I'm not sure why your logo isn't linked to your home page - it would already do this by default in a new Flare project.

Thanks for your reply. This is actually for a second image in the header that goes to the startup topic. I have just got this working by adding a URL to this topic in the master page.
Cheers, Mark
