Adding a topic icon in the TOC (HTML5)

Could someone tell me how to add icons to the TOC in HTML5 for each topic. I would also like to move the arrows for each folder to the left of the folders, rather than the right. I have specified the following settings in the Side Navigation skin but they had no affect.

PlusMinusSquares="true"
UseFolderIcons="true"
