Hi, has anyone come across this problem before.....when I have a topic that is longer than a page the vertical scroll bar appears but then the whole page moves slightly to the left to compensate.
Any ideas or fixes would be most welcome.

I'm assuming you're talking about an HTML5 output. I found an older question/answer pair on stack overflow that offers several solutions addressing the issue of vertical scrollbars shifting page content left; hopefully one of them can resolve your specific issue.

Unfortunately, I don't know enough to recommend any one solution over the others, and I have no idea if there are quirks specific to Flare which should factor into your choice.
