Find All Topics that Are Using a Specific Span

Post by flareuser1 »

I'm trying to figure out if there are any topics in my project that have a certain span applied to any of the text. I'm wondering if there might be a way to search all topics and see if the span is being used on any of them.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

You should just be able to run a find for the span class.
  • Press CTRL SHIFT F to open the find and replace pane
  • In the Find column, type class="SPAN_CLASS" (or in full <span class="SPAN_CLASS">)
  • Set the File types to Topics
  • Check Find in Source Code
  • Click Find all

The new find and replace in Flare 2020 also lets you search for tags and classes.

Thank you, doloremipsum. I was able to find where the span is being used by entering <span class="spanname">. This is very helpful!

@Dave Lee, I'm not using 2020 yet, but that feature is great to know about. Thank you!
