Re: UL and OL standard styles not visible in the styles wind
Hi,
not all style sheets from Madcap contain "all" styles:
e. g. Basic.css does not contain header styles nor list styles, while Sample.css does contain header styles and li, ol, and more...
You may add your own list styles, if you do not want to leave it as it is shown in your results by the viewer.

@Matze did you mean the Styles pane where you apply styles while editing a topic? You won't see those styles until you actually create a list (in the Home ribbon). Even then you'll only see li styles, so click on the ul/ol structure bar to get the styles relevant to those elements.

I'm wondering because e.g. if I use a p-style I can select a simple heading style or anything simple classes else.
But I cannot select a simple ordered or unordered list style class FROM THE STYLES WINDOW. these both list classes I`ve to select first via home window pane button.

Re: UL and OL standard styles not visible in the styles wind
I meant to say in my earlier post: the easiest way is to create a macro that converts a p tag into a ul/ol. You can record a macro in the Tools ribbon, then link it to any shortcut keys you want. It makes the process very efficient!

Thx a lot, nice idea via macro.
