MadCap:SnippetBllock VS. MadCap:SnippetText

Post by Matze »

What is the different ot these both? I`m not sure, it is possible, that I cannot chang a MadCap:SnippetBlock via paragraph style?

I´ve some trouble with the Block version because it applies not my desired paragraph style with changed font size, e.g. when I put the snippet in a table via drag&drop.
When I have to use the one and one the other, for my understanding, both a separate classes in the CSS but the doing via drag&drop is the same or not?

In a nutshell, a snippet inserted as snippetBock will preserve its internal formatting. So, no, you cannot apply a class to the block itself.

By contrast, a snippet inserted as snippetText will take on the formatting of the tag, such as a paragraph, that contains it.
