xref "on the next page" can it be changed to page number

In our PDF output Flare will automatically determine where the referenced text is and adjust the xef page number accordingly with on the previous page, on the next page, above, below, etc.

I love this, but I was wondering if this can be overridden to always provide the page number if it is on the next page.

I can't seem to fins a way to do this.
