Using columns in Header and Footers

Post by helen »

Afternoon (Morning)

I'm getting a bit lost here. I thought I could use columns to separate my header into 1 row, 2 columns, then I was going to put one line of text in the top left corner and one in the top right corner, on the same X axis. However, I can split my header into two columns, but when I edit the text it only changes the top right column. I think I'm using this incorrectly, I get that sinking feeling. Should I be putting tables in my header and footer frames to achieve this look?

Whilst we're on the subject - when I look at my topic the header and footer have thick black lines under the header and above the footer (default) - but these don't show in my Word output, should they?

Thanks :)
