I've been working on polishing up my index for printed output. I'd like to have it look like this.
______________________________________________
Index Entry the First 28-30
Index Entry the Second 40
Index Entry the Third 91, 101-107
______________________________________________
However, what I'm getting right now is...
______________________________________________
Index Entry the First 28
-
30
Index Entry the Second 40
Index Entry the Third 91
101
-
107
______________________________________________
Also, if the topic is particularly long it pushes the number totally out of alignment with the other numbers. Like this...
______________________________________________
Index Entry the First 28
-
30
Index Entry the Second Really Long 40
Index Entry the Third 91
101
-
107
______________________________________________
So, I guess I'm wondering if anybody has any suggestions for the best way to set up styles for a classy looking, 2 or 3 column index. It's a pretty massive document so the index is large, so the more topics I can fit per page, the better.

Re: Index Style Suggestions
I'm in V4, just starting to look at how Flare 4 handles an index stylesheet for printed material and -- yep, I am seeing the same thing.
I'm very comfortable with CSS but don't always understand how Flare implements CSS. I typically end up coding items in the stylesheet, then opening Flare and tweaking them. If I make a breakthrough I'll let you know.
