Bitbucket binding problem

Post by sarrantsvt »

A user in another division is having a problem using source control and binding to a project that already exists in Bitbucket server. Her manager contacted me to help fix the problem.

The project is already in Bitbucket and she has been using Sourcetree to perform source control tasks. She wants to do that within Flare, however.

She opens the Project Properties dialog, clicks the Source Control tab and then clicks the Bind project button and fills it out as here:

On clicking OK, she received this in the progress dialog:
pr.png
and then this dialog over that progress dialog:
pe.png
The error that repeats is:

Code: Select all

Pulling local changes from remote:
fatal: unable to update url base from redirection:
  asked for: https://[redacted].com/projects/PT/repos/test_new_flare/info/refs?service=git-upload-pack
   redirect: https://[redacted].com/login?next=/projects/PT/repos/test_new_flare/info/refs?service%3Dgit-upload-pack
She is logged into Bitbucket and is able to work using Sourcetree, but wants to work within Flare.

Any clue as to what she needs to do?

It’s already bound so doesn’t need to be bound again. Instead, they need to do an import from source control operation. Sorry so brief. Am on vacation!
